Negative PCR test for Fully Vaccinated Travelers Scrapped

From 28 March 2022, the republic of Zambia scraps a Negative PCR test to enter the country for those travelers who are fully vaccinated.

Persons who are fully vaccinated

  • Fully vaccinated persons do not need require any form of a negative Covid-19 test result to enter Zambia, but shall be required to provide proof of a full vaccination status

Persons not fully vaccinated

  • Persons not fully vaccinated, must show proof of a negative pcr test, within 72 hours of departure from the country of origin.

  • If you show up at the borders with an older PCR test you will be re-tested for Covid-19 at your own cost. In case of a positive test, an obligated self-quarantine is obligated.

Children below 12 Year

  • Do not need a vaccination or negative pcr test to enter Zambia
