Kaingu Lodge, Kafue National Park

Kids on Safari: All activities have a focus on conservation and sustainable use of resources.

Children’s Activities include:

Tracking, spoor identification, bow & arrow making, archery, stargazing, fishing, entomology, boating, bread making, African storytelling & drumming, rope making and bush skills, excursions to the local school, nature walks, fishing on a boat cruise and swimming in natural rock pools.

Finfoot Family House  as 2 bedrooms (one queen, one twin), 2 en-suite bathrooms each with an outside shower and a central living area opening onto a private deck overlooking the river. It’s a perfect spot for a couple with children, or a small group of friends. For bigger families extra beds can bed added to the safari tents.


Mfuwe Lodge, South Luangwa

The award-winning Mfuwe Lodge, located inside South Luangwa National Park, has always been an excellent choice for a relaxed game-rich safari.
The two-bedroom/two-bathroom Director’s House, is the perfect private villa to suit small groups and families.

Please note children of all ages are welcome at all our camps, but children under 12 are not permitted on walking safaris. If combining Director’s House with a Bushcamp, a private guide and vehicle will be required at the Bushcamp if it is not taken exclusively.


Flatdogs Camp, South Luangwa

Offers accommodation to rival the up-market lodges, at a fraction of the cost. They have cool and spacious Chalet rooms, the wild & unique Jackalberry Treehouse, the airy Safari Tents with 270° views and the top level bliss of the Crocodile Nest. The necessary swimming pool, WiFi in the main area, a book swap, and curio shop with local craft and from local artisans.

Crocodile Nest is a large exclusive safari tented “house” with views onto the Luangwa River and comes with a private guide and vehicle. There are two en-suite bedrooms, inside and outside living and dining spaces as well as its own private swimming pool. The bathrooms have hot shower, toilet and basin and are semi-open.


Chongwe River House, Lower Zambezi National Park

Chundukwa River Lodge, Livingstone

Chundu Cottage is a completely private, family-friendly, thatched home overlooking the Zambezi River and comes with your own chef, waiter and housekeeper.

Chundu Cottage sleeps up to 6 people. 1x king room with en-suite shower and double basins and 1x king / twin room and 1 x upstairs loft (king / twin) with a shared bathroom.

The lounge and kitchen open onto a covered veranda with an adjoining deck  and Swimming pool.Enjoy fireside chairs and a picnic table on the banks of the river for dining under the stars.

Mukambi, Kafue National Park

This Riverside Family Villa is one of the most special ways to experience a family safari.

The Villa has two large bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed and the other with two single beds). Both rooms are en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin and an extensive wooden deck overlooks the Kafue River.


Ndole Bay Lodge, Lake Tanganyika

The Deluxe Beachfront chalet has 2 ensuite bedrooms with an adjoining lounge.

Each room has a queen sized beds (1 single can be added on request).

Kettle and Tea/Coffee facilities, bar fridge, swimming towels, masks, snorkels and a fan.

The open verandah overlooks the beach.

Free WIFI is available in lodge main area.


Luangwa Safari House, South Luangwa

The South Luangwa National Park marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, one of the last remaining unspoilt wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa.

The great meandering Luangwa river, with its ox bow lagoons, riverine supported woodlands and large plains, all host huge concentrations of game including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo and over 450 species of birds.

This magnificent private safari house sits gracefully on the edge of a lagoon frequented by large herds of elephants, impalas, giraffes and countless other species and magnificently set off by the back drop of the Chindeni Hills.

In the dry season lunch can be had on the raised deck surrounded by up to 80 elephants splashing in the cool water.

The hide makes for fantastic photos opportunities.

The four double rooms are each subtly and differently decorated  to provide the ultimate in luxury.

This is the perfect getaway for families (children over seven) or groups of friends seeking an indulgent break and privacy.


Victoria Falls Waterfront, Livingstone

Family Chalets have 4 x single beds, en-suite bathrooms with shower.

All chalets have DSTV, fans, mosquito nets, private balconies (with chairs), electronic safe, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and bottled water.

Excellent value with rates from USD250 per night for the chalet.

The lodge is centrally situated on the Zambezi River for access to all activities and is well known for the best pizzas in town.
