Kerry knew exactly what kind of itinerary we were looking for and schedule a trip that was far beyond our imagination.
We visited South Luangwa National Park and from there we finished in Victoria Falls. Even though it was a short itinerary, Kerry took care of us in a marvelous way. Not only the planning of the tour was fantastic, but also her work as an organizer. Even though my friend and I contracted Covid some days before our visit, Kerry took care of rescheduling everything and keeping our itinerary as flexible as possible.
It was a trip we will always remember and I can't imagine a better operator to contact when visiting Zambia.

Fantastic company to work with
We have just returned from a fantastic 3-week self-drive Zambian safari trip organised by Sonja at Ntanda. We did Kafue, Busanga Plains, South and North Luangwa and Luambe National Parks. Sonja’s assistance and communication via WhatsApp was just perfect, including organising a change to our itinerary half way through. For us it was a leap of faith transferring a large sum of money from the UK to a company in Zambia that we had never worked with before, but everything went very smoothly. Would have no hesitation in recommending Ntanda and using them again.

We booked our first trip to Zambia through Daktari Travels in collaboration with Ntanda Ventures.
A few days before our trip, we received a WhatsApp message from Sonja Marx (Ntanda Ventures), who gave us many important tips about the itinerary, packing list, medications, behavior in the country, etc. This immediately built a great deal of trust.
Upon arrival in the country, Sonja always checked whether we (self-drivers) had already arrived at our respective accommodations. (If something had gone wrong, she would have had us search for them.) This, too, was a very good feeling.
During the entire trip (Livingstone-Ithezi Thezi - Northern Kafue NP - Busanga Plains - Lusaka - South Luangwa - Lower Zambezi), we didn't need any vouchers or any other documents. Everything had already been organized and sorted out in advance by Sonja.
The accommodations and car rental companies (Limo Car Hire) were truly excellently selected. Everything went absolutely smoothly, and we would book a trip with Sonja Marx again through Ntanda Ventures in a heartbeat. Thank you for the fantastic all-round support, kindness and warmth, Sonja!

Found Ntanda Ventures Ltd by random search & word of mouth - at very short notice they arranged a last minute booking safari trip to Zambia - all inclusive. They were very fast to reply and present available options, Christina was great to work with! Prompt communication was appreciated. We were invited to a wedding in Zambia and knew nothing of the country. We were put in touch with Kerry at Ntanda with the brief to arrange attendance at the wedding followed by a bucket list safari experience and Victoria Falls. The trip exceeded all our expectations. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday experience in Zambia, which included hotels, flights, safari, activities. I came to Zambia for work and wanted to extend with a few extra days. With a bit short notice and for a holiday weekend Ntanda Ventures and Sonja helped me book a bush break in South Luangwa. Communication was easy and I really enjoyed the professional/knowledgeable but personal connection. My preferences were heard, all my questions answered and we worked together on finding a good fit. I was travelling alone and Sonja quickly understood what I was looking for and made suggestions based on local knowledge and experience, exactly what I needed! Due to unforeseen weather changes we had to make some changes to the plan and Sonja made sure to check with me what I would prefer and be okay with, and checked in with me along the way - everything was taken care of so I only had to enjoy the trip. It was a last minute plan, but she made it very easy and enjoyable for me - if I were to come back I would surely reach out and book through them again.

Ntanda Ventures helped me plan and book a trip to Lower Zambezi while my brother was visiting the country. They were responsive whenever I had a question, were knowledgable about the options, and clearly listened when I gave them information or asked questions. We both lived in Kitwe Zambia in the 60's,70's & early 80's and had not been back since I left in 1984. It was a wonderful memorable trip where we started in Lusaka, then went down to The Victoria Falls, back to Lusaka, up to Kitwe and finally to Luangwa Game Reserve. Honest & Authentic: I can describe Ntanda Ventures as very organized with a unique personal touch and great understanding of the travelers wishes while adding the knowledge and experience of a national tour operator that knows the country and cares about its visitors.
Ntanda Ventures offered one of the best experiences in my 20 years of professional and private travel in Africa. Ntanda Ventures was recommended to me by a collegue who works in Zambia. In my careeer as a conservationist I have been to many places in Africa. I recently had an oppertunity to visit Zambia on a work trip and wanted to add a few days as a holiday. Kerry & Christina from Ntanda really wanted to understand my idea of a safari and they proposed a trip to McBrides camp (I highly recommend McBrides!) in Kafue National Park based on my wishes. It was a perfect match!
Ntanda Ventures really wants to understand the wishes of their clients and tries to offer thém the experience that fits! (rather than fitting the client into a package deal...) Ntanda offers that personal touch that is often hard to find!
The logistics such as cars with a responsible driver, hotesl and other travel preparations where carefully prepared and worked out well. I had payed in advance so I had no worries about the bills and prices which is very convenient if you are on a break.
Zambia is a beautiful country with a lot of untouched spaces & National Parks full of wildlife, birds and culture that is rarely seen in Africa.
I would come back to Zambia whenever I can and would ask Ntanda again to organize my trip.
Utter care and professionality
I traveled to Zambia with a friend in December 2021, on a trip organized by Kerry at Ntanda Ventures. I don't usually book with a travel operator but I decided to give it a try, and what a pleasant surprise it was. Kerry organized a one week trip that made us discover two of the best sites Zambia can offer: the South Luangwa National Park, and the Victoria Falls at Livingstone. In both sections of the trip, I really felt the attention to detail and the professionality of somebody who's been in the travel industry for long, knows the ins and out of the country, and knows how to handle unexpected changes a customer might face in light of the pandemic. My friend and I contracted a Covid infection just a week short of traveling to Zambia, and Kerry took care of rescheduling everything for us. On our way to the country, we read on the news that Zambia might put in quarantine, but Kerry was reassured us that it was not official news and told us exactly what to do at the border to have a smooth entrance into the country. Both the campsite at the South Luangwa NP and the hotel in Livingstone were marvelous and really made us feel us spoiled. Activities had been organized for us for every day, including game drives and a boat cruise, and we always had somebody from the two accomodations taking care of us, picking us at the airport and helping us during our stay, always with Kerry in the background for additional help. Overall, a great vacation and a great and professional tour operator. Thank you Kerry for your hard work!

We booked a tour to Zambia (Kafue National park, Victoria falls and South Luangwa national park) through them. Kerry and Christina helped us with everything from accommodation, special food orders, transfers between camps, flight tickets, PCR-test etc. !I have travelled to South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Indien. However, this is definitely the best travel agency I've ever booked from I honestly feel like Kerry and Christina are my friends that I've never met in real life. My go-to team in Africa
The Ntanda team has done a brilliant job for us and designed an itinerary to perfectly match our dreams. We like to mix up the rustic bush with a little luxury to make the most of the wilderness, natural beauty and simply lie by the pool. Highlights have been a road trip to Kapishya Hot Springs and Africa House and Lake Tanganyika.
Livingstone has to be my favourite destination as there is so much to choose from. We loved David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Siankaba. Siankaba offers absolute tranquility with cheeky monkeys and beautiful bird life.
We are looking forward to visiting the Luangwa Valley next.

Just wanted to say thank you for organising our superb trip to the Lower Zambezi! The Royal was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms, great service , delicious food and incredible game viewing! We went into the National Park , saw 6 leopards in two days, 2 of which were fighting over territories. A huge herd of buffalo coming down to the watering hole, the Brutal brothers male lions , so many elephants and their babies - we even had one wondering around the camp! Our sightings were endless! The staff have created a wonderful, friendly environment. Everyone is helpful and hospitable, we even had a watercolour art lesson whilst there! Thank you everyone, The Royal is certainly a choice destination and we’ll be back soon!
We had a really nice time as we ended up being the only guests at the lodge for most of the nights. The staff was very attentive, the lunches were excellent (better than the dinners for some reason) and the guiding was great. We received a reusable water bottle and a drawstring bag with hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and tissues upon arrival; the staff wore masks at all times and hand sanitizer was available on all entrances of the main pavilion. The location of the lodge and the facilities are beautiful, the bar is very well stocked with high-quality items (even cigars) and there even is "real" coffee from a french press available on game drives as opposed to instant coffee. We also made use of the high water to go on a boat safari. They even made a special dinner of nshima and char-grilled bream upon request.
